How winning ‘Website of the Year’ impacted our client’s business

After winning ‘Website of the Year’, Know Your Money let us know how PR played an integral role in their awards success.

 

Know Your Money is an independent financial comparison website launched in 2004. The team’s goal is to provide clear, accurate and transparent comparisons for a wide range of financial products.
The website creators, Notice Media, appointed us to help promote their award nomination through the power of PR. And as ‘Website of the Year’ is a vote based awards programme, the team needed to spread the word far and wide.

To ensure Notice Media’s story was heard in the media, we wrote a compelling press release and secured coverage in the business section of Norfolk’s most popular newspaper and national trade media including Norfolk Tech Journal. The ‘voting’ page was shared across social media channels and promoted through external communications including e-newsletters and internally via a staff promotion scheme.
Receiving a large percentage of votes, Know Your Money was announced most popular comparison site, setting them apart from their competitors.

The team maximised their awards success by sharing the achievement though online channels including social media, adding the logo to their website/email signatures and through an e-shot to all existing contacts.
